Privacy Policy
Version: 1.0 · Last updated: October 23, 2026
OQuark Studio ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (collectively, the "Service").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.
1. Who Is the Controller
The controller of the personal data covered by this Policy (Brazilian LGPD, art. 5, VI) is Gustavo Augusto Hanum Sardinha, an individual, operating under the OQuark / OQuark Studio brand, with address at Av. 136, 761, Goiânia - GO, Brasil, CEP 74093-250.
- Data Protection Officer (encarregado): none appointed. As a small-scale processing agent, the controller is exempt from appointing one (ANPD Resolution CD/ANPD No. 2/2022, art. 11). The communication channel for data subjects is contato@oquark.io (section 11).
2. Information We Collect
We generally collect two types of information:
- Personal Information: This is information that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment data (if applicable), which you voluntarily provide to us when creating an account, contacting us, or making a purchase.
- Non-Personal Information: This is information that does not directly identify you. This may include usage data, device type, operating system, IP address, unique device identifiers, and browsing data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when using our Service.
- Visit measurement: We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits anonymously and in aggregate (pages viewed, country, device type and referrer). It uses no cookies, doesn't store your IP address and doesn't identify you.
- Waitlist: When you join the app review waitlist (oquark.io/revisao), we process the data described in section 3.
3. App Review Waitlist
This section applies to the waitlist form at oquark.io/revisao and prevails over the general rules of this Policy on anything specific to the waitlist.
- Data collected: your email (required); your app's URL or stack, if you provide it; your preferred contact language (Portuguese or English); the record of your consent, with the date and time of sign-up (which, together with this Policy's version history, identify the version in force at that moment); and the sign-up source (oquark.io/revisao).
- Purpose: to let you know when the app review opens and about its launch terms. The URL or stack, if provided, is used only to understand what kind of app you want reviewed. We do not send automated emails, and we do not use this data to promote other products without a new, specific consent.
- Legal basis: your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), given by ticking the consent box on the form. Without it, the sign-up is not accepted. You can withdraw it at any time (section 8).
- Retention: we keep this data until the app review launches and for 12 more months after that, or until you ask to leave the list, whichever comes first. At the end of that period, the data is deleted or anonymized, unless the law requires it to be kept (LGPD, art. 16).
- Where it is stored and who processes it: the data is stored in a Neon Postgres database, and the form is served and processed on Vercel's infrastructure; both act as processors (section 5).
- IP address: to limit abuse, the request's IP address is used only in memory, for a few minutes, and is not stored in the waitlist.
- How to leave: email contato@oquark.io asking to be removed. We will delete your data from the list.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
- To improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
- To understand and analyze how you use our Service.

5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, process payments, or contact you. Today, the processors that handle personal data on this site are:
- Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting, running the waitlist form, and anonymous visit measurement (Vercel Web Analytics);
- Neon (United States): the Postgres database that holds the waitlist.
- For Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if we are required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
International transfer. Since Vercel and Neon are based in the United States, your data may be processed outside Brazil. These transfers rely on art. 33 of the LGPD, through the contractual data protection clauses and safeguards set out in these providers' terms of service.
6. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
For the waitlist, the connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), only the site's server can read and write the waitlist table, and error logs show the email masked.
7. Data Retention
We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Waitlist data follows the period in section 3: until the app review launches plus 12 months, or until you ask to leave, whichever comes first.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you.

You may also petition the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

9. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Each version of this Policy has a number (at the top of the page). When you join the waitlist, we record the date and time of your consent, which identifies the version in force at that moment.
